~Vatican City~
His head was bowed and his body was obviously that of an old man, but it didn’t stop him from taking charge just as a young man would do. Eyes seemed to be partly closed as he slipped on the heavy white adornment that all who meet him will see. Before this would happen, however, something had to be dealt with.
There had been reports that THEY had bred another One. That She would be the one to bring down all he stood for, and he would not let that happen. He would bring her down first if it were the last thing he would do. She was evil, not right, in his eyes… something born of the Devil, NOT of Christ.
Pope John Paul II walked down the stairs slowly, he was an old man, and he needed to take his time. Marble steps let the echo of the pats of his slipper-clad feet, his white robe moving behind him just as slowly. Upon reaching the bottom floor he looked up to see Cardinal Innocent looking towards him, “John…” he said under his breath, to where the Pope seemingly shook it off and braced himself upon the Cardinal. “We have much work to do dealing with this Ma-“ The Pope, however, glared up to Innocent and shook his head “Not here my son… let us continue to the office.”<br>
~New York City~
The Order had sent her here, to retrieve something of much value to her and everyone else within the Order… it seemed that the last of the Magdalene had left IT here. She would need this soon… They told her so, They told her it is of much value to those of the Magdalene line. Something with immense power she will not understand until she holds it herself.
Now Patience was a girl who was just that, patient, but with riddles, she wasn’t. In fact, it made her down right frustrated when they spoke to her like that. Seeing as she needed this object, and held a firm dedication to the Order, she would work through her frustration. It was just through time… at least she would believe that she would gain the knowledge that they had and were keeping from her.
Her head fell and her eyes looked to the floor… it would just be after some time.
